These study groups are a forum where you can come with questions or problems and collectively we can explore ways of working through them through different techniques and approaches. The broad aims of the groups are:
– To enhance clinic practice and strategies
– To share skills and experiences
– To continue to connect & grow as TCM practitioners
Each session will comprise 1 structured hour on a topic, then 1 hour of case study discussion
The initial topics will include:
WED 29TH JULY 6PM – 8PM Gynaecology & Fertility
WED 5th AUGUST 6PM – 8PM Paediatrics: How to really help kids and keep them wanting to see you
WED 12th August 6PM – 8PM Immunity & ENT medicine
WED 19th August 6PM – 8PM Obstetrics: helping Mum & baby, before labour & beyond
WED 26th AUGUST 6PM – 8PM My top 10 Master Tung points (practical session)

The purpose of having short sessions that practitioners can attend on a casual basis is to be able to work through issues as they arise in your private practice.

Elaine Hickman has trained and worked in various settings, both in Australia and China. She has over 15 years experience in treating many health problems. Elaine has a particular interest in Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Family Medicine, Wellness promotion and Psycho-emotional problems.
Elaine runs an established & busy clinic, Freedom Chinese Medicine. Here she is the Principal Practitioner, manager of a team of practitioners, staff and students. She has supervised many TCM students in clinical training.
